Laimburg Research Centre is the leading research institute in the agricultural and food processing sectors in South Tyrol. We provide research support to companies from these sectors, helping them strengthen their competitiveness and innovative capacity.
To this end, we have developed a range of service packages for contract research projects of varying scale that are tailored to our clients' individual needs. Laimburg Research Centre offers a suitable range of services, from pure scientific consulting to more comprehensive contract research projects.
South Tyrolean companies and start-ups can obtain funding for these services by applying for a Lab-Bonus, which covers up to 65% of the costs incurred.

Service Packages

For smaller research projects, we offer a choice from one of the following four service packages:

  • The Consulting package includes a review of technical and scientific literature followed by consulting for the planning and implementation of your prospective innovation project.
  • The Small, Medium and Large packages include — in addition to scientific consulting — the planning and implementation of experiments and studies in the laboratory and/or field. The choice of package depends on the number of samples and complexity of the equipment required for the study.

For larger contract projects (> €22,600), we will liaise directly with you to create a personalised offer. All service packages include the preparation of a report on the research findings, which will be provided to you upon completion of the project.


Prices 2024

Service descriptions and pricing of the available packages are listed below. We offer a 10% discount on base price (see discounted prices in blue and in parentheses in the pricing table) if you agree to share the project results (foreground) and the right to publish with Laimburg Research Centre.
Any publishing activities by the Centre are carried out without prejudice to the protection of the intellectual and industrial property rights of the client (not prejudicial to novelty).
